Electronics I and Lab – Week #2 Tutorial2

Accessing The Function Generator In MULTISIM:

1. Open MULTISIM and click on the function generator and place it in the workspace.

3. Double click the generator and set the frequency and peak voltage. Click inside the frequency field and put in the desired frequency, in this example we’ll put in 100. In the field on the right, click inside the Hz area, there will be several frequency multipliers, choose Hz.

4. Click inside the AMPLITUDE area and put in the desired Volts peak. In this example we’ll use 20Vpeak (which is also 40 Vpeak to peak).

5. We’ll add the TEKTRONIX OSCILLOSCOPE.

7. We’ll add a 1N4001 diode and a 2.2kohm resistor, turn on the scope and run the simulation.
