Why do we want you to record yourself?
By reading your written work aloud, hopefully you will hear
any errors or awkward sentences that need to be corrected. When you read the paper aloud, you have to
slow down and actually look at the written word in order to read it aloud – this
slow-down is also important to help your brain and your eye spot any errors.
